What are the challenges you face as you head into 2017. A new year and a new beginning. An opportunity to have a great year and achieve all you set out to achieve.
Unfortunately, that sounds unrealistic for many people. For many people they are facing one or more of the challenges I am listing below:
- Rising costs of living
- No real job security
- Working more than one job to survive
- Less time for family and fun
- Poorly paid
- Retirement plan – not having one
- Feeling unappreciated
- Have limiting beliefs
- Afraid to step outside your comfort zone
- Don’t like the circle of friends you have
- Rising health care costs
- Decline in standard of living
- Caring for elderly parent or parents
- Finding affordable housing
- Suffering from depression or other mental health disorders
So how many on the list did you say – “yes that is me”?
Unfortunately, for to many of us although we say that we are are excited about the new year starting (it has to be better than last year), if we are honest nothing is going to change. It is going to be the same old, same old. Yes a few new years resolutions but they are just a fleeting thought and something to say.
How would you like to change all that?
You can if you CHOOSE to.
If you are happy with where you are at, feeling comfortable and have no challenges – stop reading. If, however, you are ready for change, I invite you to read on. I do actually have the answers for you.
I would not ask you to do something I am not doing or have done.
You have to be congruent in your thinking and your actions.
How would you feel about setting some goals and taking care of business.
Investing time and energy into something will help you move ahead and give you an additional source of income.
Work on something that allows you the opportunity to do personal development and eventually can grow into an income and a lifestyle.
If you are ready we need to talk and we need to make a plan. From a long way back. I worked for a company called Success Motivation International (SMI). We developed individuals to their full potential. I look forward to helping you get where you want to be.
Today take action: I invite you to get a piece of paper and a pen and write down the DREAM you have. What is it that you would love to achieve if there was nothing standing in your way. What is your purpose for being here? What is your life mission?
For most people this exercise alone is therapeutic and a catalyst for change. Every day you need to be doing something to move yourself ahead. Share with me what you are looking to change and/or achieve.
